These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the WatchLux Faces app ("the app"), published by Frame Sixty Labs LLC ("we," "our"). By using WatchLux Faces, you agree to these Terms.

These Terms apply to WatchLux Faces for iPhone and Apple Watch, and to WatchLux for Android phones and Wear OS watches. Where a section applies to only one platform, it says so.

Description of Service

WatchLux Faces is an iPhone app that provides curated watch face artwork for Apple Watch. Users can browse a gallery of watch faces and add them to their Apple Watch using Apple's native watch face sharing functionality.

On Android and Wear OS

WatchLux for Android is a phone app with a companion Wear OS watch app. Users can browse a gallery of watch faces on their Android phone, choose a style for each face (such as Digital, Analog, or Minimal), and add the face to a paired Wear OS watch.

Subscription Access

WatchLux Faces is a subscription-based service. Access to the watch face library requires WatchLux+, available as:

  • An annual auto-renewable subscription ($29.99/year), starting with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers,
  • A weekly auto-renewable subscription ($4.99/week), starting with a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers, or
  • A one-time Lifetime purchase ($19.99) for permanent access.

Prices are shown in US dollars and may vary by storefront; the exact price and billing period for your region are always displayed on the purchase screen before you buy.

You can browse and preview the entire gallery before subscribing, but adding watch faces to your Apple Watch requires an active WatchLux+ subscription, an active free trial, or a Lifetime purchase.

On Android and Wear OS

On Android, WatchLux+ is sold through Google Play as auto-renewable subscriptions and a one-time Lifetime purchase. Plans, prices, billing periods, and any free trial on Google Play may differ from those on the App Store. The exact price, billing period, and any free trial for your country are always shown in the app and by Google Play before you confirm a purchase.

You can browse and preview the entire gallery before subscribing. Adding watch faces to your Wear OS watch requires an active WatchLux+ subscription, an active free trial, or a Lifetime purchase, except for any watch faces marked as free in the app.

Purchases & Subscriptions

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period — annually for the annual plan, weekly for the weekly plan — unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
  • The Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that does not auto-renew.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions).
  • Free trials are offered once per Apple ID across the WatchLux+ subscription group. If you have already used a free trial on any WatchLux+ plan, a new subscription begins as a paid subscription immediately, and the app will show the price without a trial offer.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you start a paid subscription.

On Android and Wear OS

  • Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the price shown when you subscribed, unless you cancel before the end of the current period. Cancelling stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • The Lifetime purchase is a one-time, non-renewing purchase that does not auto-renew.
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in the Google Play Store app under your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
  • Free trial eligibility is determined by Google Play for your Google account. If you are not eligible, the app shows the price without a trial offer.
  • Unless you cancel before a free trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown.
  • Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
  • Purchases made on Google Play and purchases made on the App Store are separate. A WatchLux+ subscription or Lifetime purchase on one platform does not unlock WatchLux on the other.

Watch Face Artwork

All watch face artwork in WatchLux Faces is created by or licensed to Frame Sixty Labs LLC. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the watch faces on your own Apple Watch. You may not:

  • Redistribute, sell, or sublicense the watch face artwork
  • Extract or repurpose the artwork for use outside of WatchLux Faces
  • Use the artwork in any commercial product or service

On Android and Wear OS

The same license applies to watch faces you install on your own Wear OS watch. In addition, you may not copy, extract, or share the watch face packages the app downloads to your phone, or attempt to bypass purchase verification.

Apple Watch Compatibility

WatchLux Faces requires an iPhone paired with an Apple Watch (Series 3 or later, running watchOS 7 or newer). We cannot guarantee compatibility with all Apple Watch models or future watchOS versions. Watch face syncing uses Apple's native APIs and is subject to Apple's terms and limitations.

Wear OS Compatibility

WatchLux for Android requires an Android phone running Android 8.0 or later, paired with a watch running Wear OS 6 or later that has the WatchLux watch app installed. Watches that cannot run Wear OS 6 cannot install WatchLux watch faces. Installing a watch face needs an internet connection on your phone and a Bluetooth connection to your watch.

Your watch holds one WatchLux watch face at a time. Installing another WatchLux watch face replaces the previous one. Watch faces you installed from other sources are not affected.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with all Wear OS watch models or future Wear OS versions. Watch face installation uses Google's Wear OS APIs and is subject to Google's terms and limitations.

Analytics

WatchLux Faces uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect usage data, tied to an identifier for your installation of the app, so we can improve the app. We do not use this data for advertising; the ads described below are served separately by Google AdMob. iOS does not offer a system-wide switch that turns off Firebase Analytics for an individual app; deleting the app stops all collection, and you can ask us to delete the analytics data linked to your app installation by emailing us at the address below. On Android and Wear OS

The Android app uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect usage data, tied to an identifier for your installation of the app. It does not use Firebase Crashlytics. Advertising

The free experience of WatchLux Faces is supported by advertising. If you do not have an active WatchLux+ subscription or a Lifetime purchase, the app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob. WatchLux+ removes ads: subscribers (including during a free trial) and Lifetime owners do not see them.

Ads are selected and served by Google, a third party, not by us. Google is responsible for the ads it serves. We do not endorse, and are not responsible for, the products, services, or content advertised, and any dealings you have with an advertiser are solely between you and that advertiser. For how ad data is handled and how to manage your ad privacy choices, including Settings → Ad privacy options in the app, see our Privacy Policy. If you see an ad that you think is inappropriate, please report it to us at the address below.

On Android and Wear OS

The same applies on Android: the Android app shows banner ads served by Google AdMob to users without an active WatchLux+ subscription or a Lifetime purchase, and WatchLux+ removes them. Ads are Google's responsibility, and we do not endorse the products or services advertised.

No Warranty

WatchLux Faces is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all devices. Watch faces are delivered using Apple's Photos face format, and their appearance may vary depending on your Apple Watch model and settings.

On Android and Wear OS

On Wear OS, watch faces are delivered in Google's Watch Face Format. Their appearance, animation, and battery use may vary depending on your watch model and settings. In always-on mode, animated watch faces show a still image to save battery.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Frame Sixty Labs LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of WatchLux Faces, including but not limited to loss of data or inability to use the app.

Account Termination

We reserve the right to restrict access to the app if these Terms are violated. If your WatchLux+ subscription or free trial ends without renewal (and you have not purchased Lifetime access), you will no longer be able to add new watch faces from the app, though any faces previously synced to your Apple Watch will remain on the watch.

On Android and Wear OS

The same applies on Android: if your WatchLux+ subscription or free trial ends without renewal and you have not purchased Lifetime access, you will no longer be able to add new premium watch faces from the app. A watch face already installed on your Wear OS watch remains on the watch.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the state in which Frame Sixty Labs LLC is incorporated.
